For Generation of SBI ATM Pin through SMS you need to enter the message from you mobile as follow:
Type: “PIN<space>last 4
digits of debit card number<space>last 4 digits of your bank account
number”
Example: PIN 5587 3579
And send to 567676.
Here 5587 is the last 4
digits of debit card number and 3579 is the last 4 digits of your bank account
number.

Generation of SBI ATM PIN by Call to SBI Customer Care
The second method of generating SBI ATM PIN is by calling to SBI Customer Care. You have to follow the following steps to complete the process.
Step 1: Call to any one of SBI Toll
Free customer care number:
- 18004253800 or
- 1800112211 or
- Call to 080265-99990 from registered mobile number. (Best way)
Step 2: After the connecting to
call you will ask to select language.
Step 3: Thereafter you have to
select the “ATM and Prepaid Card Services” option and select ‘1’ to generate
ATM PIN.
Step 4: Now you have to enter
“Debit card number” as advised and confirm.
Step 5: Now you need to enter “Bank
account number” as advised and confirm it.
Step 6: After the completion of the
above process you will receive OTP on your registered mobile number with SBI.
You can use this OTP within 24 hours at any SBI ATM Machine to generate a new ATM PIN by selecting option Banking> PIN Change.

Generation of SBI ATM Pin at SBI ATM Machine is some time difficult because there are other customer also comes for transaction and some time OTP receive very late. So, better way to Generate SBI ATM pin is through SMS and Call as explained earlier, if you want to generate ATM PIN at SBI ATM Machine then you can follow the following steps:
Step 1: Insert debit card in the
ATM Machine.
Step 2: Select the option “PIN
Generation”
Step 3: Enter the “11 digits
account number” and confirm.

registered mobile number” and confirm.

above process you will receive OTP on your registered mobile number with SBI.
OTP will be valid for two days.

Generation of SBI ATM PIN with Net Banking Online
If you are generating SBI ATM Pin first time after opening the new bank account then this method is not better for you. You have to generate ATM Pin by SMS or at ATM Machine or calling to customer care (explained below) because in the initial stage you cannot start net banking without ATM PIN.
Otherwise If you are using a net banking facility then you can easily
generate ATM PIN for your debit card in future.
You need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Login to Net Banking
Step 2: Click on “e-Services”
Step 3: Select “ATM Card Services”
Step 4: Select “ATM PIN Generation”
Step 5: Select “Using One Time
Password” or “Using Profile Password” for authentication.
Step 6: Select “Using Profile
Password” and enter Bank account Number and Submit.
Step 7: Now select the “Debit card
number” and click on “Confirm”.
Step 8: Now you will be diverted to
the “ATM PIN Generation” page.
Step 9: Enter the first two digits
to create a new PIN and Submit.
Step 10: Now you will receive SMS of
the last 2 digits on your mobile number.
Step 11: Now on the next screen, you
have to enter a 4 digits number (“2 digit entered earlier and 2 digit received
by SMS”).
Step 12: Now you see message on
screen “ATM PIN has been changed successfully”
This 4 digits number will be your ATM PIN.
